The official full-size controller for Nintendo Switch 2, and the natural choice for docked play or anyone who finds Joy-Con 2 too small for long sessions. It carries over the comfortable, well-balanced shape the original Pro Controller was known for, with a few meaningful additions.

Two programmable GL and GR buttons sit on the back of the grips — new for this generation, and mappable to other inputs so you can keep your thumbs on the sticks while jumping, reloading or activating abilities. The new C Button gives one-press access to GameChat, and a 3.5mm audio jack is built into the base for wired headsets, something the original Pro Controller never had.

Motion controls, HD rumble and NFC for amiibo are all present, along with the full-size analogue sticks, proper D-pad and full-width grips that make this a far more comfortable proposition than Joy-Con for extended play.

Battery life is the standout figure: approximately 40 hours per charge, with a roughly 3.5-hour recharge over USB-C using a Switch 2 AC adapter or the included charging cable.
