The world’s smallest action camera at just 35g, and genuinely thumb-sized. The GO 3 is built for hands-free point-of-view footage — clip it to a cap, stick it to a helmet, wear it on your chest, or place it somewhere a conventional action camera would never fit.

What makes it unusually versatile is the 2-in-1 design. The tiny camera module clicks into the Action Pod, which adds a 2.2-inch flip touchscreen for framing, live preview and full control. Used together, it works like a conventional action camera. Pop the camera out, and the Action Pod becomes a remote control with live view while the camera records from wherever you’ve mounted it.

The GO 3 records crisp 2.7K video with an ultra-wide POV. FlowState stabilisation delivers gimbal-like smoothness, and 360° Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level no matter how the camera tilts or rotates — useful on bikes, skis and anything that bounces. Timelapse, Hyperlapse, slow motion and Starlapse modes are included, and FreeFrame mode lets you choose the aspect ratio after shooting, so you can export vertical 9:16 for social media without losing detail.

Battery life runs to 45 minutes with the camera alone, or 170 minutes using the Action Pod, which recharges the camera whenever it’s docked. The magnetic body snaps onto the included pendant, clip and pivot stand. Two built-in microphones capture clear audio, and Voice Control 2.0 lets you start and stop recording hands-free.

The Insta360 app handles transfers and editing, with AI Auto Editing that finds highlights and cuts them to music automatically.
