Sony’s own pro controller, and the only one that keeps every PS5 feature while adding tournament-grade customisation. Where most third-party pro pads drop haptics and adaptive triggers to cut weight and latency, the DualSense Edge keeps both — so you’re not choosing between competitive tuning and the immersion PS5 games are built around.

Customisation runs deep. Swappable stick caps ship in three shapes (standard, high dome, low dome), and the entire stick module is user-replaceable — unscrew the faceplate and the module lifts out, so a worn or drifting stick can be swapped for a replacement rather than replacing the whole controller. Two sets of back buttons are included, half-dome and lever, clipping magnetically into the rear.

Trigger stops let you shorten L2 and R2 travel to three positions, cutting actuation time for shooters while leaving full analogue range available when you want it. Stick sensitivity and deadzones can be tuned per profile, along with button mapping and vibration intensity, with multiple custom profiles stored onboard and switched using the Fn buttons beside each stick — no menus, no pausing.

Everything else is full DualSense. Haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in microphone with mute, 3.5mm jack, touchpad, motion sensor, speaker and Create button all carry over. It charges over USB-C, and the included braided cable comes with a connector housing that locks it into the controller so it can’t be pulled out mid-match.
