A collector’s edition Switch OLED released alongside Tears of the Kingdom, and one of the best-looking consoles Nintendo has produced. The dock carries an elaborate gold-on-white design drawn from the game’s Zonai motifs, the Joy-Con are finished in matching gold and white with Zonai detailing, and the back of the console itself continues the artwork.

Underneath the finish it’s a standard Switch OLED. The 7-inch OLED screen is the headline: noticeably larger than the original Switch’s LCD, with richer colours, deeper blacks and better contrast — a substantial difference in handheld play. A wide adjustable stand runs the full width of the back for stable tabletop play at any angle, and the dock includes a wired LAN port for a more reliable online connection.

Internal storage is 64GB, double the original model, expandable with a microSD card. Enhanced onboard speakers improve handheld and tabletop audio noticeably. All three play modes — TV, tabletop and handheld — work as they do across the Switch family.
