Officially licensed for Xbox, the Stealth Ultra is a genuine pro-tier alternative to Microsoft’s Elite Series 2 — and it does something no other controller does. Built into the top of the body is a 1.5-inch full-colour Connected Command Display: a working dashboard you operate from the controller itself, with no app, no menus and no pausing your game.

From that display you can adjust button mapping, thumbstick response and deadzones, trigger settings, vibration intensity, game and chat audio balance, headset EQ, and the RGB lighting across 16.8 million colours, plus switch between 10 onboard profiles for different genres or loadouts. A patented Turtle Beach exclusive also pushes social notifications from your phone onto the dashboard, so you’re not glancing away mid-match.

The hardware backs the screen up. Hall Effect thumbsticks give smooth, drift-free control that doesn’t degrade over time, and short-travel tactile micro switches are used throughout — D-pad, ABXY cluster, bumpers and the four mappable rear buttons — for fast actuation and long life. Adjustable trigger locks shorten trigger travel for shooters.

Connection is via Turtle Beach’s lag-free 2.4GHz wireless transmitter for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows 10/11, or built-in Bluetooth for PC, Android and supported Bluetooth smart TVs — it was the first pro controller to work wirelessly on Xbox Series X|S. Switching between them takes a few taps on the Command Display. Battery life runs up to 30 hours in adjustable power modes, topped up by the included rapid charge dock, which also houses the wireless transmitter.

Turtle Beach’s Control Center 2 app on Xbox, PC, iOS or Android handles deeper profile creation and firmware updates, and any 3.5mm headset gets access to Turtle Beach audio features including EQ presets and Superhuman Hearing.
